The Worm
On Friday night- Your Mom had a very successful evening. We won both of our games against Drinkin’ Team with a Kickball Problem and the Ball Crushers. In the second game against the Ball Crushers, one of their players seemingly dislocated his shoulder while diving for a ball and was escorted painfully off of the field. This made me feel slightly sorry about kicking their butts so badly- I believe the score was something like 11-0…not really sure- I stopped counting. Between our two games, I decided to do a celebratory worm. Ron from the Ball Maulers captured this moment gracefully on his mobile and was so kind to text it to me that evening.
On another note- what’s up with the mysterious members of the Big Red Chuggers who never seem to join in any kickball fun after the games?…
Week One | Your Mom vs. Oops! I Kicked it Again and Ball Maulers, Part Deux
Your Mom was defeated by Oops! I Kicked it Again, but we defeated the Ball Maulers, Part Deux. Oh the glory. That was the game I really wanted to win. Muhahaha- eat that Tnarg. I need to come up with nicknames for the newbies, but no rush, they will come in due time. I was surprised to hear that Cobra Kai couldn’t handle the heat that Friday night brought on- they lost both of their games. The MVP belt buckle that was handed out was pretty impressive- I think I was oogling over it for quite a while at Ryan’s table at Boulders. Not as cool as my homemade GO YOUR MOM! sign turned super cool makeshift hat though.
MADE: Can Martin Cizmar become a Kickball All-star?
As I embark on a new day, I cannot be more thrilled to know that tonight marks the first production meeting for MADE: Can Martin Cizmar become a Kickball All-star?. Only the dorkiest group of cool people could ever pull off the creation of an amazing parody on this familiar MTV reality show. And now, I have a worthy cause to fill my what I was afraid to be empty Thursday evenings. Tonight I anticipate much discussion and perhaps several arguments due to the lack of clarity in the creative direction of the episode. Never to fear though- as we sip on our drinks of choice at Casey Moore’s Oyster House, I have no doubt that we will all come together in a moment of glory and astonishment as we realize the potential of the power that lies in our hands. Who knows if Martin Cizmar will be able to be MADE into a kickball All-star, the script is not written yet. However, with the end product that we can produce, I know one thing for sure. We WILL become kickball legends.

Your Mom | Catch Phrases, Nicknames, and Cheers
Your Mom is a team full of many energetic crazies. It is very rare to see Your Mom-ers quiet on the sidelines, but rather cheering their teamies on with many obscure references (often times coming out of my mouth). Nonetheless, it is my hope that our switch to Friday nights will not only be a burden lifted from having to put up with some of those “mean” teams, but also a chance to improve upon the Your Mom lingo that flows around the fields. Below is a list of fun catch phrases, nicknames, and cheers that we already have going on- please feel free to make an addition!
Catch Phrases:
“Get it in Your Mom!!!” This is yelled as a vocal motivation for the Your Mom-ers to get the ball in from the outfield. Often times it is accompanied with a stylish pelvic thrust.

Results
Well, it was a rough night for Your Mom. We were defeated by the ADP, and never really got to play our pickup game with Bamboozlebus despite my inappropriate attempt at spirit lifting with my Twitter references. However, it was an exciting night for me. The Playground Bullies needed a girl to fill in for their team, and somehow I got into the mix. I got to play the last two games with them, and they actually won the whole championship! Props to the PB. And, I even scored a run in the championship game vs. the Bad News Bears. It was quite a glorious moment. I like to think that I brought a bit of pep to the Bullies, and maybe they needed me just a little bit. It was a good end to a great season, and I can’t wait for the next to start. It will surely be a different vibe playing on Fridays but I am ready for it- as always. 
Playoffs
Today is another big day for Your Mom! At 6:30pm we will be taking on the Angry Drunken Pirates to try and break our 0-0 tie to them several weeks ago. Hopefully we will end up on top. If we beat ADP, it is on to Ludicrous Speed- a hard bunch of conniving bunters. Following that there will surely be a pickup game with Bamboozlebus and festivities at Boulders to finish the season off right. It has been a great season with NAKAD and I am extremely glad that the Mom decided to switch over from WAKA. Your Mom will be going through another change by switching to Friday nights for the next season after this week- but I only think that Friday nights will be even more fun with even more to talk about. My only question now is what will become of my Thursday evenings that have been consumed by my love of kickball for the past year and a half? Time will tell- and I’m open for suggestions.
